Thcro will also be a dls tributon of gifts to tho scholars, somo of wliom will bo costumed to represent different personages. Thursday ovenlng at 7:30 tho Bap tist Sunday school givo a cantata en tiled "Sata Claus In Slumberland." This Is a very pretty composition and promises to be well rendered. The Presbyterian school will hold Its celebration Thursday evening. An ontortainlng program, in chargo of Mrsl Herbert Baker has been pro pared and will bo rendered by thn scholars. Tho big Sunday school of the Chris tian church, with tho exception of tho primary class, will obsorvo Christ mas as a season of giving rather than receiving. Thursday afternoon, tho primary class will bo given treats at tho church, the other classes will take their gifts and cash donations to the church the sanio afternoon. During tho two weeks of tho session tho only important legislation was tho extension of the war tax.
