AWAY TUESDAY NIGHT.
With the word "Heaven" on her lips
as tho end came, Mrs. Margratha

shortly after midnight Tuesday night.
In her death Lincoln county loses
another of Its early pioneers, for of
the nlnety-ono years this good woman
had lived, flfty-ono had been passed
In this county. She was ono of tlio
few remaining courageous women
who brnved hardships incidental to
frontier life. LIko others, there were
times when she hurriedly gathered
her children and fWd-to the fort for
protection from Indian raids; she
was by force of circumstances thrown
Into acquaintanceship or association
with a class of men not of licr lik
ing the rough cowboy, the burly
driver of the sixteen yoke ox-team
and the nll-around "bad man" she
was denied the many conveniences,
comforts and advantages wo today
enjoy, but under theso adverse condi

christian principles reared a family
of children who wero a pride and com
