James Danze, who was Internally
Injured Sunday afternoon, when ah
automobile in which ho was riding
turned turtle, died at 2:15 yesterday
afternoon. Following tho accident
four physicians united in their ef
forts to save the life of this popular
ball player, but -without avail.
James Danzo waB born in Omaha
February 20th, 1891. Before becom
ing a resident of this city ho was in
the employ of tho McKeen Motor
Works for a number of years as steam
fitter and also followed tho plumbing
trnao in Omaha.
Ho camo to North Platto two years
oga with tho Mink ball team which
playea hero during tho summer of
1913. On tho 20th day of tho following
September ho wns married to Miss
Elizabeth Havllnnd of this city, who
survives him, nnd again took up his
residence in Omaha. A year ago ho
returned to accept a position in the
Davis garago whero ho was a trusted
and faithful employe. To mourn him
are loft his wife, n baby daughter, his
parents. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Danze of
Omaha four sisters and two brothers
also of Omaha.
Tho funeral services will bo held at
half past three this afternoon nt the
residence of Mr. and Mrs. William An
dorsou, G03 west Eighth street nnd the
remains taken to Omaha this evening
