Lincoln Highway In Motion Pictures. II. C. Osterman, of New York' City, consul-nt-largo of the Lincoln High way, spent Saturday afternoon In town nnd was In conference with T. O. Pat terson, who Is consul for Lincoln county. Mr. Osterman will return to morrow and will meet with the Cham ber of Commerce and take up the matter of having North Platto "feat urcd" In a motion picture, film that will show every foot of tho Lincoln highway from Now York to San Fran cisco. In order to obtain this picture film Mr. Osterman, accompanied by an ex pert operator, will leave New York April 25th and drlvo an auto over tho 3384 miles, and as the car moves along every foot of tho highway will bo taken. To mako this trip will rc- qulro ninety days. In each state cer tain towns on the highway will bo featured. Those selected In Nobras ka will bo Omaha, Fremont, Grand Island and North Platto. Dr. LykciiH Dies Here. Dr. Wm. E. Lykens, of Ogalalla, died at two o'clock Sunday morning at tho Nurso Brown Memorial hospital In this city, to which Institution lio was brought tho evening before. Death was duo to organic troublo, supposed to havo been superinduced by straining himself last January when his auto bc camo stuck in tho snow and ho over exerted himself In attempting to free It. Tho deceased had practiced In Ogal alla for clgbt years, and for thrco years prior had bcen located at Pax tan, While a resident of tho latter placo ho wns married to a daughter of Mr and Mrs. David Stafford, who survives him. Tho remains were taken to Barnes, In., Sunday ovcnlng accompanied by the wife and Undertaker W. It. Ma , lonoy of this city. Miller, who moved to this city a couplo of years ngo from Nichols precinct, is in a speechless condition nt her homo on east Fourth stroot as a result of a blood clot on tho heart valvo that has affected tho brain and resulted In tho loss of tho power of speech. This affliction developed Thursday evening, and followed a weakened condition of tho hoart that has been experienced for some tlmo. Dr. Wurtola was called and Is giving all possible aid to tho stricken woman, whoso condition Is considered critical. D. W. Crane Passes Away. Word was rccolved Saturday of tho death of ltov. Davo W. Oroiio at Los Angeles last Wednesday.
