morning for Ilrush, Colo., to spend a
few days on business.
P. C. Meyer, of Paxton, was in the
city yesterday transacting business
and visiting friends.
Miss A. C. Krnmph returned liome
this week from Hastings where she
spent several days visiting friends.
Miss Lillian McCrackcn leaves to
morrow for her homo in Uoulder, Col.,
after visiting over tho holidays with
her sister, Mrs. II. M. Grimes.
Mrs. August Kosbau Is reported
convalescing nicely at her home on
west Sixth street from her illness
caused by drinking sulphuric acid by
mistake. Sho Is now considered out
of any danger.
Hen Elliott, of Madison, Wis., has
boon spending this weok with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Elliott.
Den is an instructor of mechanical
engineering in tho University of Wis
consin. Miss Lulu Burko returns this week
to Greeley, Col., whoro sho is attend
ing tho Colorado stato normal school.
Sho spent tho holidays visiting in this
city with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Burko.

children left Wednesday morning for
Los Angeles, California, where they
will visit for two months or more
with Mr. Dool rule's brother, Thomns
Doolittle and other relatives and
friends. They go by the way of El
Poso, Texas.

day by Sheriff Salisbury where lie
will be hold pending the decision of
the district court on his case. Tie
was sentenced last Saturday by Dis
trict Judge Grimes after tho arguing
of the motion for n new trial. The
case was appealed to tho supremo
court and Pnrmlee as turned over
to the sustody of the sheriff.
