Still Searches for Lost Ilrother
Mr. and Mrs. II. G. Connett, of Chll
llcotlic, 111., arrived In tho city yes
terday, continuing tho search for Mr.
Connctt's brother,, Vornon Connett,
who disappeared last August. Mr.
Connett unnounccs that within tho
past few days he has unearthercd
tmoro evidence against Roberts and
that they are certain fhat tho brother
was murdered.
Roberts in still being held at tho
j penitentiary and as soon ns It is

and will probably be returned here

but the relatives of the missing man

keeping an outlook for any evidenco
that may arise. Tho cold weather
1 stopped the search for tho body but
i it will be resumed again as soon as the
weather permits. Inquiries have
i been sent to all towns along tho Platto
I river below to ascertain if there are
any unidentified bodies that were tak
en from the river. So far nothing of
any consequence has been heard from
theso sources.

Dedication Service Held.
Sunday afternoon the, new Christian
church at Sutherland was formally
dedicated with a nice program. A
number from this city attended the
sorvlcos and II. G. Knowlos gavo tho
dedicatory address.
Tho regular morning services were
held Sunday morning and following
thi$ n basket dinner was hold In the
church. The entire afternoon was giv
en over to tho dedication servicoB
which were impressive and well at
tended. Several members of tho choir
of tho local Christian church attended
and assisted in tho music.
This now church was but recently
complotcd at a cost of about thirty
flvo hundred dollars. It is woll fin
ished and is a credit to tho city of
Sutherland and to Mr. Knowlos who
Is pastor there also. Services have
been held in it all summer and" during
tho week tho workmen have worked
at finishing up the insldo work. Mr,
Knowlos Is just closing a series of
ovangelistic meetings which have beon
going on for over four weeks. For
some time ho has beon holding ser
vices there each Sunday afternoon.
