Robort Parmlco was arrested yester day morning by Deputy Sheriff Roy Wilson on the chargo of statutory rape, tho complaining witness being Minnie Thleda, a young girl under eighteen years of age. Ho was brought to Jail and was taken before tho Jutlgo yesterday afternoon. Ho entered a pica of not guilty and waived prelim inary examination. Ho was released on bonds of $500 which were furnished Uy T. S. McCrono. , Parmlco was arrested last spring on the same chargo against Frelda Thleda and is now awaiting trial on that count. This second count Is al leged to havo been committed in April, about tho time of the first case. Locals Defeat Kenrnej High In a hard fought game tho local eleven yesterday defeated tho Kear ney high school bunch by tho scoro of 13 to 7. North Platto won the game in the first quarter when Cool made a sensational long run nnd a touchdown. After that neither team seemed to havo tho ndvannge nnd tho play was mostly near tho middle of the field. In tho fourth quarter Kearney scored a touchdown nnd kicked goal nnd North Platte then came back with' an other with tho above result. A number of enthusiasts went down from hero to nttend tho game. Many of the high school girls accompanied tho team down on No. 16 and several of the second string men went down also. Coach Nevillo and Leslie Das klns accompanied them also. The next game will be 6n tho local grounds with Omaha and a fast one is anticipated. Omaha has been losing some games this season but they1 undoubtedly have a strong aggregation. Till LEADER. Charged With Bootlegging. Thomas Regan was arrested Wed nesday by the local officers on com plaint of Peter O'Dean charged with unlawfully selling liquor without a license.
