He has been a resident of this county for sev eral years and Is well known to many. He was fifty-nine years old at the time of his death. Mr. Richards was born In Ohio on January 19th, 1855. He moved to Nobraska sovcral years ago and later to Lincoln county. No funeral ar rangements have yet been made as they are waiting for word from a brother in the east. Tho mortgage is long past duo and is unpaid and tho plaintiffs allege that they paid taxes this year on tho prop erty to tho extent of $73.55. The de- fondant n the case is a horse biiyer of tho Sutherland vicinity. " T. J. Baldock returned Wednesday evening from a viBlt at Danville, Ky., whoro ho was called last week by tho serious Illness of his father, W. R. Baldock. Ho reports his father's con dition much improved.
