Tho nddrosses were all good and show
much talent in that lino in tho class.
A. F. Streitz gave n nico presentation
speech which was full of timely ad
vice and also commended the class for
their faithfulness. Supt Tout spoke
favorably of the class for their good
record through school as compared with
other classes and also presented tho
scholarship to Miss Marlon Cross, the
honor student.
After the exercises tho Junior-Senior
banquet was held in tho Masonic hall.
The banquet waa an elaborate ono
and was successful from every stand
point. Tho Junior class and their ad
visor, MissAileen Gantt, decorated tho
rooms very beautifully with tho high
school colors, red and white, tha Senior
colors, blue and white, and the Junior
colors orange and black. Tho place
cards wcro also unique and tho tablo

Talk Church League.
Tho ball gamo last week, botween the
Lutherans and the Episcopate incited
considerable comment among tho mem
bers of tho brotherhoods of the other
churches which .promises to result in
tho organization of n church league.
Much talk among these men circulated
around Friday and much of it was to
the effect that such a project should be
launched.
Members of tho Christian, Presbyter
ian and Methodist brotherhoods ex
pressed themselves ns favoring such an
organization and stated that they would
get to work towards organizing teams.
Of all tho kinds and clauses of leagues
tho church league gonornlly provokes
tho moBt merriment and should such an
organization be fonJted there is promise
of gront sport along tho lino of the
great American pastime.
