Agricultural Society
Plans County Fair
At a meoting of the Lincoln county
agricultural socioty Tuesday afternoon
at the court house it was planned to
maka definito arrangements in regard
to tho county fair for next fall and the
dates were sot for September 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd. After the fair here the ex
hibits will be taken to tho state fair
which will be held in Lincoln during
the week beginning September 7th. Ar
rangements are on foot to maku dispo
sition for tho transportation of the
Lincoln county exhibits to tho fair so
that the expense will not have to bo
borne entirely by the exhibitors.
Somo now officers were also elected
nt this meeting. Attorney M. E.
Crosby submitted his resignation ds
Rccrctary of tho organization ami
the directors will havo to elect a
new one in his place. Mr. Crosby has
been an efficiontsocrotary buthisjothcr
work is so heavy that he can no longer
handlo it. Four now directors wore al
so elected aa follows: James W. Ab
bott of Horshey, II. P. Stevens of tho
Bigncll vicinity, Churles A. t Liston of
tho Wallace vicinity and (Jy Fox of tho
north part of tho county. These direc
tors were elected that all parts of tho
county would be represented. They
will each appoint committees from their
several districts to assist in tho work
of getting ready and mako tho fair
this fall the best that has oyer been
held.

A. V. Larsen and Jacob Colemnn, of
Gaslin precinct wore business visitors
to tho court house -Wednesday.
Ed Larsen, of the Brady vicinity,
was in tho city Wednesday enrouto to
his homstead in the Keystone vicinity.
