Baker, an old resident of this city, died yesterday afternoon-nt 2:45 at the home ot his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Hughes, G21 West Fifth street, aged G8 yoars. Death was duo to paraly sis, with which ho was stricken J anunry 12 last while visiting in Wisconsin. lie loaves to mourn his death, besides his many frionds, two children John M. Daker and Mrs. Jessio Hughes, both of this city. His wife died three yoars ngo Oct. 23. Mr. Baker was born April 11, IS 15 in New York state but has been a resident of this city for over thirty-five yews.
