An Exciting Football Games
In a very close an exciting contpst
Friday afternoon the Lincoln school
football team beat the southside scrubs.
There is some talk about lack of foot
ball mntenal for North Platto next year,
but the gamo Friday proved that" this
was a wrong theory for with a backfield
that weighed about 155 the northside
boys by means of long practice and drill
had made them a high-clas3 burich to
beat. The southside did not ever make
a gain through tho line nnd neither
could they with stand the rushes and
line plunges' of the Lincoln bunch. The
scoro was 12 to 5, neitherside being able
to kick tho goals. Johnson and Hood
starred for tho north side bunch wnfle
Lnmbert and Lemonj starred for the
scrubs. This team now challanges any
tenm that can bo made up in the seventh
or eight grades. (Contributed).
