North Platte is getting to be known ns a convention town; a month or so ago wo hnd the state firemen's conven tion, then the teachers' association con vention, then the ministerial convention, and now on June 7th we will have tho convention of the state league of build ing and loan issocintions. At tho Inst convention T. C. Patterson was not only elected president of the league, but tho members further honored North Platte by naming itns the place for the 1913, convention. This gathering will not be large, probably about fifty dole gates, nevertheless the Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Presi dent Patterson and officers of the local association will see that visitors aro so treated that they will bo anxious to re turn.
