Sheriff Salisbury returned the latter
part of last week from Lincoln where
ho took Harry Lindell to the'state pen

for stealing goods from the Yates store
at Sutherland.
Tho $200 contributed to the Omaha
relief fund announced in these columns
as given by "railroad employes," was
donated by the shop mon alone; tho
amount givon by the englnemen and
trainmen was considerably greater.
Tho Young Ladies Bridge Club were
tho guests of Misses Edith Patterson
and Laura Murray at the home of the
former Saturday evening. A couple of
hours were spent in curd games and a
nice lunch was served lato in the evening.
