That's the kind of arithmetic that counts with the man who knows the value of money.
Before you put your good dollars into new Fall and Winter clothing, come in and examine the
season's models of STYLEPLUS suits and overcoats.
Keep in mind what you've been paying for clothes and make a comparison' with the exceptional
quality of fabric, the splendid workmanship, the becoming style and beautiful finish of STYLEPLUS
suits and overcoats every garment guaranteed by the makers.
And then deduct $17.00 from what you've been paying, and you'll find a saving of at least
$3.00 to $8.00.

Move for New School Building.
At a meeting of tho board of educa
tion Monday evening, thaproposition of
building a new school house in the oast
end was considered at length, and ns
the first step to-ward its erection, a
resolution was passed authorizing the
board to call a special election on Dec.
5th to vote on the proposition of issuing
bonds in tho sum of $20,000. While
this sum is not sufficient to erect a
building commensurate with the grow
ing needs" of th ea3t end, it is proposed
to pell the ground occupied by tho pres
ent building and add this to the build
ng fund.
A building as largo, or larger, than
tin Washington and Lincoln, is needed,
and it is suggested that tho east end
building bo of a dill'crent type of archi
tect uns, which probably would entail n
gr ator cost than did the Third and
Fourm ward buildings.
'1 lie school population of the east ond
demands this new building, and that
suction of tho city is entitled to this ex
penditure of tho tax payor's money.
The bonds should carry without a dis
senting vete; in fact every good citizon
sh mid account it a pleasuro to assist in
giving tho oast end people the school
accommodations thoy deed.
