One of the prettiest weddings seen fn North Platte for many a day occurred Tuesday evening, when William Horton Munger and Miss Geraldine Baro plighted and gave their troth each to the other and wore solemnly joined to gether in the bonds of holy wedlock by the rector of theCuhrch of Our Saviour. The simple, beautiful service of the church did not fail to impress the gath ered throng of frionds with the sacred ness of tho marriage tie. Historic and hallowed associations hover around this time-honored religious ceremonv; by these words "with this ring I thee wed" have English king and English yeoman been wedded for over a thous and years by these words were the fir3t couple joined on American soil In the English tongue John Rolf and Poca hontas. So amid such romantic asso ciations these words again spoke out their solemn meaning in the lives of two of North Platte's best loved young people, and the joy of the hourbespoke not only tho blessing ot tne cnurcn but tho blessing of the assembled friends upon them bidding them god speed upon their new life. The church was filled to overflowing with tho many close friends and rela tives who came to witness the ceremo ny and aciu tneir lencitations. ine spacious choir spaco was adorned with simple green decorations forming an aisle from the choir steps to the chan cel rail. The altar, with its beautiful white hangings, was further beautified with profuse floral decorations of pink and white carnations which were the predominant colors of tho wedding. The handsome gowns of the congrega tion gnve a truly festive tone to the whole ceremony, and nil agree that this wedding was a truly joyful occa sion. The guests were most courte ously cared for by the ushers A. W. Archer and E. T. Kelihcr. At 8:30 Prof. Garlichs, the organist of the church, blended from his beau tiful prelude into Lohengrin's Wedding March and the bridal party entered the church led by tho ushers Mr. Archer and Mr. Kclfhor. At the choir steps thoy wore met and immediately follow ed to tho altar rail by the groom and the groomsman Richmond Birge. Fol lowing tho groom and groomsman was tho brido's party led by Miss Nell Bratt followed by Miss Edith Patterson, and preceding the bride and acting as ma tron of honor como Mrs. Victor Von Goetz, Jr., then last pf nil the bride entered upon her fathor's right arm, and was escorted to the place resorved for tho bride beioro tho altar opening. The wedding march blended Into a sott musical accompaniment which contin ued throughout the entire service. The bridal party were met in the chan cel by tno rector wno accopteu tne hand of the bride from her father and gave it into the hand of the groom and they were mndo man and wife with the familiar words "With this ring I thee wed, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow" etc. At'.tho closo of the service the bride and groom knelt for tho Blessing, after wnichthe wedding march from Lohengrin was resumed and the ceremony was concluded. During the prayer service Miss Dea Hardin sang tho beautiful marriago prayer hymn "0 Porfect Lovo", which added greatly to tho already impressive service. After the church services wero con cluded the bridal party, relatives and guests gathered by invitation at tho I. 0. 0. F. hall which had been daintily decorated by the bride's friends with artistic clusters of lilacs, and pink and white carnations in abundance. The beautiful hall was well chosen for such a reception and tho marked good will nnd joyful faces of tho guests mado this an ovening long to bo remembered. Stamp's Orchestra furnished the music and their well-chosen selections blended with tho merry-making.Eadding spirit and pleasure to tho reception. Tho guests wero received by bridal party and relatives of the bride and groom, Those in tho lino wero Mr. and Mrs. Irn L. Bare, Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
