Instantly Killed. Tho four yoar old son of Home Nechan, of tho vicinity of Brule, was instantly killod, Tuosday evening about dark, by a load of alfalfa passing over his body. Mr. Nechan told tho boy to return to the house and supposed hu had dono so but as there wore some pigs squealing around tho wngon did not notice him. Miss Pearl Howland, who haB been teaching the Brown school on the south side, completed a successful term of school last Friday. A picnic was held on the school grounds and everybody reported a good time. Miss Howland left for her ';omo in North Platte last Saturday night.
