Train service on" the Union Pacific's
North Platte Valley line to Gerwg was
installed last Friday. On the arrival
of tho regular train at North port a train
is mado up, making the run to Gering.
This train leaves Gering on the return
trip'at 5:10 a. m., arriving at North
port in time to meet the eaatbound
train at 7c30-Bridgeport Blade.'
In honor of her sister-in-law, Mrs. II.
K. Smith, of Mt Pleasant, Mo., a
number of lady friends were pleasant

on Tuesday afternoon. Seven tables

The Knights of Columbus held their
annual banquet and election of ofllcers
last night, which proved to bo a vory
