Word received in town Saturday after
noon announced the death at Arapahoe
of Master Harold Den, the seventeen
year old son or Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Den,
of this city. With three companions,
whose nges ranged from fifteen to
twenty-one years, he was engaged in
digging a cavo near that place when
the earth cavo wnv. burvintr tho four
boys. The body of tho Den boy was cov
ered by only two and half feet of dirt
but the depth from which the other
bodies weru removed reached six feet.
There was no one present at the timo
of the accident to aid them and life was
extinct when the bodies were removed
from tho earth. The funeral was held
at Arapahoe yesterday afternoon. At
