Tho total solids in tho water from tho now wells at a doDth of 215 feet is 13.27. from tho old U. P. wells tho percentage is 27.40, from tho Pcniston well 196 feet deep the percentage is 13.42, whilo tho total solids from the present wells of tho wnter company is 86.86, or more man aouoio tno percentogo in tho new Union Pacific well. water was pumped irom the new well at tho rate of twenty gallons per minute, ana in tour hours pumping the water was lowered ten feet in tho casing.
