made an auto trip from Hcrshey to
Wallace, then;e to Madrid and back to

a snow storm, lost the road, and later

Mr. Robinson, who recently pur
chased the Conroy place at Pallas, will
erect a new residence and barn on the
premises for his personal use while the
present buildings will be occupied by
employes. At present Mr. Robinson

yards have a busy time drilling out
hoboes, who arc more plentiful this
spring than for several years past.

An extra local cast bound train has
been placed in service between Sidney
and North Platte. The train leavos
Sidney at about 6:30 a. m. but has no

Miss Susie Robb was accidentally
shot in her right arm. Wednesday after
noon about 5 o'clock by Miss Sarah
Burns. on an islund in tho Platte
river, while they wero out hunting
They had gone to the island with a
horse and bucgv and were about to do
some shooting, when Miss Burns
thought that there was something
wrong with the gun and she "broke"
it to see what the matter was, and in
tho act the eun was discharged, it
being of tho hammorless variety.

The Sunshine Society will be given a

sions exceptionally good programs of

Sells Livery Outfit.
A. J. Salisbury today sold his Front
Btrcot livery outfit to W. Frost, of
Central City, and the purchaser will
take possession tomorrow morning.
Tho sale is in the naturo of a trade,
Mr. Salisbury taking land in Merrick
county. Mr. Frost is an experienced
livery stable man, and will conduct the
business up to the standard of tho past.
Mr. Salisbury has not yet decided what
vocation he will take up.
