Move Toward a Chautauqua.
Last evening thcro was a definite
move, made for a chautnuqua in North
Platte. Several men interested in the
move met in the parlor of tho Y. M. C.
A. and talked the matter over. A com
mittee of threo was appointed to
solicit stock looking toward tho organ
ization of n stock company. Wo be
lieve the mooting marks the beginning
of a splendid chnutnunun for North
Platte. We want everybody to boost.
It is a North Platte move.
It is not for any particular few but
for our city and vicinity. It will bring
to our city the beat that the world af
fords in the way of lecturers, music and
entertainment. Several of the towns
and cities about us aro holding each

to insure a successful chnutaunua. Let
