Observer Plcrcy, ot tie local
weather bureau, says: The tem
perature last Saturday morning
was thirty below zero, which is the
lowest temperature ever recorded
in any December during the twenty
seven years the weather bureau
office has been established in this
city. The next lowest, twenty
seven degrees, occurrred the day
betore Christmas in 1879. The
lowest temperature in December,
1900, was ten below zero and that
on the last day of the month
In the case of Wm. Diener
against Mrs. Jas. Wilson, in which
certain provisions of the will of the
late Jas. Wilson was attacked,
Judge Grimes gave a decision in
favor of Mrs. Wilson. We under
stand that Mr. Diener, through his
attorneys, will appeal and carry
the case to the supreme court. The
Odd Fellows lodge is interested ih
this case, as until the case is
decided there is a cloud on the title
of the property occupied by Weis
uei's meat market, which the
lodge recently purchased of Mrs.
Wilson.
