In talking with a real estate
dealer the other day, he ventured
the remark that it one hundred
houses were erected in North
Platte for renting purposes, ten
ants could be found for all of them
Never in the history of North
Platte has there been a greater de
mand for houses, and the demand
seems to increase as tue season
advances. This condition iudl
cates that the population of the
city is increasing, and rapidly too.
That this is true is borne out by
the fact tuat nltliougli twenty or
thirty new houses were erected last
vcar. tlic iletnaitu tins searsou is
greater than last. There is need
of more houses, and the man
with idle capital can find no better
investment for his money than in
nutting up five or six room houses
for renting purposes.
