The first subiect which came up for discussion was the disposition of the present high school building. It was finally decidd to advertise for bids as it stands the purchas er to remove it and also for bids for tearing it down the work to be done according to specifications which can be obtained from the secretary. If the building ib torn down and still remains the proper ty of the school dist rict the mater ial will be Borted, graded and piled on the grounds and the contractor will be asked to bid upon the ma terial. Bids for the construction of the new building will be advertised for at once and they will be received until noon of April 17th. The building is to be completed by October 15th. The successful con tractor will be required to furnish a bond in the sum of $15,000 in some reliable boud company. Perry Sitton was unanimously elected superintendent ot construction of the new building. The new plans submitted by architect Grant were accepted by the board ab they seem j to be perfect in detail.
