Taylor of Scottsbluff preached a very interesting sermon after Sun day school, Sunday. Charley Sherlock was hurt quite badly Sunday morning when a horse reared and fell backwards with him. The dance at Dove's hall Saturday night was quite well attended. Music was furnished by Mrs. Leo Lewellyn. The ball game season opened here Sunday with a game between the reg ular Angora team and a pick-up team, Angora winning. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boon spent Sat urday at R. T. Ely's. The many friends of Mrs. Boon will be glad to know she is able to be about, although she still uses a crutch. The teachers and pupils of the An gora school are preparing a program to be given at Dove's hall, Friday evening. Everyone should make an effort to come, as it is sure to be good. The community club met with Mrs. Lvle Glau Wednesday. Miss Lillian Stoner was elected president and Miss Sophia Guszak secretary in place of the other officers who had resigned. Miss Gladys Fletcher closed a very successful term of school in the east part of the .Angora district. Frulay. She will visit a while with friends be fore returning to her home at Ban croft, Neb. A wrestling match was held at the Dove hall Friday night.' Some goo1 nreliminaries were Dut on. The match was between Omer Kingry and R. N. Heldenbrand of Gillette. Wyo.. in which Omer Kinerv was victorious. Parents and friends of the school children met at the school house rn dav and treated them and their teach ers to a picnic dinner. Dinner was served in one of the basement rooms and was greatly enjoyed by all. Over a hundred were nresent. which goes to show that the parents are talcing a great interest m the school.
