The bride is a stranpdr here but has
made a very pleasing impression upon
friends of the family. We extend con
gratulations. The chamber of commerce did nn
act last week that was much appre
ciated by every one in the district
when they moved the bdl from the
old school house on to the new one
The children seem u great deal more
interested in starting to school of a
rooming since they can hear the bell
calling them.
Arbor Day was observed in the An
gora schools in a very enthusiastic
way. We are indebted to Miss Stonei
for starting the movement, and afe
pleased to say she had very hearty
support. A tlozen trees' were planted
on the school grounds, five ty the
chamber of commerce, two by Miss
S'oner and her pupils, two by Miss
Hazen and her pupils, one by Miss
Fletcher and her pupils from .the east
side, one by the community culb and
one by the school board. A short pro
gram -van also given by the school
children which was appreciated.
