The federal reserve bank desci bes it as drawn on the Fed eral Reserve bahk of Kansas City, bears the check letter C and a por trait of Cleveland, with the names of W. G. McAdoo, secretary of the treas ury, and John Burke, treasurer of the United States. "This counterfeit is printed from photographic plates, on two pieces of paper between which a few silk threads have been distributed," says the warning. "The pasting together 1 of the maker makes the bill too thick. It is also about a half inch shorter than the genuine. The number of this counterfeit is J2990OOOA.
