There must have been a slight difference In volume when Mr. El lison stopped singing but it was not nottceable tor the voice which cam from the cabinet was round, lucious, with all of the vibrant, pulsating quality of that which came directly from Mr, Ellison's throat. It was only by watching the singer's lips that one could be sure when he sang and when he did not.
