Travelers to Scottsbluff during the
past few days report bearing dyna
mite explosions in the region of the
Lake Alice dam, which lies midway
between Alliance and Seottbbluff,
Just beyond the sandhills. There
have been some cave-Ins of a part of
the dam, it is said, and the plan Is
to release the water and make repairs.
The Alliance Community Club has
