CITY OF ALLIANCE, NEBRAS
KA:
Section 1. That paving district
No. 4 be, and hereby is created in the
City of Alliance, Box Butte County,
Nebraska.
Section 2. Taat eald paving dis
trict No. 4 shall comprise and in
elude all that portion of Box Butte
Avenue in aald city extending nine
feet both east and west from the
center of auch street between the
north line of Sixth Street and the
hwutb line of Seventh Street, and

bids for paving. The .mayor and
council may provide for bids on, dif
ferent materials and types of con
struction, nnd shall. In addition, pro
vide for asking bids on any material
or materials that may be suggested
by petition of owners of the record I
title representing twenty-flva per
cent of the abutting property owners
in said district, If such petition is
filed with the City Clerk of said city
before advertisement for bids is or
dered, and that upon the opening of
bids for said paving in said district
number four the mayor and council
shall postpone actiofl thereon for a
period of not less than ten days,
during which aald period of post
ponement the owners of tae record
title representing a majority of the
abutting property owners in aald dis
trict may file with the City Clerk a
petition for the use of a particular
material for. paving in which event
a bid on that material shall be ac
cepted and the work be done with
that material, and that In case auch
ownera fall to designate the material
they desire used in auch paring In
the manner and witaln the time
