over engines in the round house.

returned the first of the week from a
week's vacation which was spent at

flsh Thursday where she will spend
some time visiting friends.
Fuel Supervisor Wm. Hlbbard of
Chicago, was in the city Thursday
looking after affairs of the company.

and wife expect to leave Saturday
night for a two weeks vacation. They
will visit in Omaha and also take a
hort trip west to Casper and Bil
lings before returning.

Thursday looking after affairs of the
company.
Air Room Foreman Jack Connors
md wife have gone to Falls City,
Neb., to visit relatives. The air rooms

nors. A fire alarm was turned In from

damage except to the switchman's
wash rooms.

Building work Is progressing on
the church corner as rapidly as pos
sible. The corner house is being
raised, preparitory to moving it to Its
new location on Seventh and Platte,
and the excavation for the new par
sonage is early completed. I
The sermon topic Sunday morning
will be, "God's Eternal Church." We
often hear the question, "What "will
become of the church?" "Can the
generations of the future get along
without it?" It is freely prophesied
by many that the church has no fu
ture. These questions will be an
swered in the sermon Sunday morn
ing. Sunday evening we meet on the
roof garden where Rev. Kearns will
deliver the sermon.
