Brock Whorton, now of Casper,
Wyo., and Miss Elizabeth E. Pond of
Jamesport, Mo., were married by
County Judge Tash Thursday after
noon. The groom came to Casper
from Trenton, Mo., a short distance
from the bride's home city, and has
tcen employed In the oil refineries
In the Wyoming city. The couple
wlll make their home In Casper dur
ing the summer, and plan to return
Missouri in the falf.

The East Side Progressive club
met .Wednesday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. II. M. Claussen, north
east of the city. There was an un
ually. large attendance of club mem
bers and a number of out-of-town
guests, all of whom enjoyed a de
lightful afternoon in the generous
hospitality of the Claussen home.
The regular club program, was
waived, general discussion taking
its place, followed by music ren
dered by Miss Marie Kroha A de
licious luncheon of sevtral courses
was served.

Mrs. A. U. IsaucHon, who has been
in Chicago and other eastern points
for the past six weeks, returned on
Tuesday. She feels much Improved.

Hlanche Kibble, who has been
making her home In Denver for the
PifBt year and who suffered a severe
attack of the flu, was brought to the
home of her parents in this city last
Saturday in poor health.' Her many
friends hope the change may bring

C. O. Jones and wife were visitors
from Hyannis this week, coming up
on No. 43 Wednesday and while here
purchased a new Mitchell car and
went back via the sand hills.
