Funeral services for Fred Brost
were held from tne borne Monday
morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Mearl
C. Smith of the Methodist church of
Alliance officiating;, and the body was
laid to rest In th Alliance cemetery, j his father, Adolph Drost; fire broth
Fred Brost was born In Box Butte rs, Edward, Cnristtan, Adolph, Her-
county, Nebras&a, Tebruary 12, 1902,
and died at the home Friday morn
ing, October 24, aged seventeen
years, eight months and twelve days.
He leaves. In the Immediate family,
man and Walter, all of whom live
In the home neighborhood; and two
sinters. Mrs. Pauline Chllson. resid
ing near the home place, and Thelma,
a fourtt rn-year-old sister who llvt-s
;wlth an uncle at Peoria, 111.
