Miss Lux also vis ited Mrs. J. M. Miller, her sister, at Colfax, Iowa. Mrs. Miller Is much Improved In health. Miss Lux spent three weeks on her vacation trip. Senator C. Petrus Peterson of Lincoln, the speaker on Thursday evening, at the eighth grade graduat ing exercises, was the guest-of Lloyd Thomas while in the city. Senator Peterson and Mr. Thomas were members of the Nebraska house of representatives together at the 1917 18 sessions. This was the senator's first visit to Alliance and he was agreeably surprised at finding a live liitle city.
