Backing up the Brave is the noblest duty of an American today.
These are your boys who are waging your battles on the fields of
France. They are gambling daily with death.
Money means nothing to Pershing's Crusaders if it doesn't spell
VICTORY. It takes money lots of it to make the "Yanks" victori
ous and keep them so.
"Our boys" have a wonderful spirit They have had wonderful
success. Let's help them keep it up.
It took the optimism and courage of the "Yanks" to bolster up the
worn "Poilus." This same spirit also encouraged the determined
"Tommies." The "Blue Devils" of the air rallied under the morale
of our lads. Even the kilted "Ladies from Hell" took on added cour
age when the "Yanks" sailed in with characteristic American dash.
When Americans mean so much to their Allies, how can you
afford to hesitate in lending all you can to America to bring success
to the allied aims and hasten a glorious peace?
