A WAR SAVINGS CERTIFICATE is the Govern
ment certificate given to you when you buy your first War
Savings Stamp and to wliich you attach that stamp and all
future stamps bought until the ( Yrtifiicatc is filled
twenty altogether,

until April 1, 1918. The price increases 1 cent per month
until the end of the year. The difference between the
cost and $5 represents interest at 4 per cent compounded
quarterly.
A Til HI FT STAMP costs 25 cents. When you have
placed sixteen of these stamps on your Thrift Card you
can exchange it for War Savings stamp as explained
on the Thrift Card.
A THRIFT CARD is the card givto you with your
first Thrift Stamp and to which you attach your Thrift
Stamps until the card is filled sixteen stamps altogether.

Kennedy, then a resident of Box
Butte County, Nebraska, died in
testate in Richardson County, Ne
braska, on the 9th day of December,
1893, and that at the time of his
death he was owner in fee simple of
the following described land in Box
Butte County, Nebraska, to-wlt:
The Southeast Quarter (SW4) of
Section numbered thirty-four (34),
in Township numbered twenty-eight
(28), North of Range fifty (50), west
of the 6th principal meridian, con
taining about one hundred and sixty
aires (160).
That he was seized af an estate of
inheritance in said lands and that he
left as his sole and only heirs at law
