From the above call It will be seen that skilled labor of practically all kinds Is needed for the aero and balloon squadrons that are to be or ganized and young men who have n predilection for this kind of work are now presented with an opportun ity that may never come again. A large number of flying machines are being built and active service la as sured those who take advantage of the present opportunity to get into these organizations. There may be a few who will urge upon you claims of exemption or dis charge that is made for individual convenience, or to escape personal loss of money or property, or for favor or affection, some other man whose time not otherwise would have come, must incur the risk of losing i his life. Convention in Morrill County Adopt Hesnlutlons On June 11. 1917. a monster Hun day School rally was held at Nickus drove, In Morrill county, attended by three hundred people from twelve public school districts in Morrill and Banner counties. At this conven tion resolutions were adopted com mending Governor Neville, the mem bers of the House conference com mittee on the prohibition bill Nor ton, Thomas and Flansburg and the members of the Nebraska House and Senate who assisted in passing thft Nebraska prohibition law. These resolutions were received this week by The Herald with the M quest that they be published. Second. Be It resolved that we gladly honor those members of the conference committee of the House who against, all tempting offers and arguments remained unshaken in their determination to carry out trie sovereign will of the people, express ed by the large majority vote at the last election for prohibition. Third. Be it resolved that we most heartily endorse and applaud the manly and statesmanlike action of Governor Neville In insisting that the legislature keep their covenant with the people and enact a satis factory prohibitory law. Fourth. Be it resolved that these resolutions be published and copies of the same sent to Governor Neville, the members of the House confer ence committee, and to the chief clerks of the House and Senate.
