In the selection of threshed grain
exhibits use a neat container, in
which place grain true to variety
type, free from all other varieties of
weed, seeds, sticks, dust, etc., and
uniform in size, color, and variety
characteristics. It is well to have
the variety and test per bushel label
ed. With truck crops Including pota
toes and fruit. Judgment must be ex
ercised in the selection of exhibits.
Besides variety type and quality,
proper packing, uniformity and mra
ket desirability are most important.
Many exhibitors of potatoes, fruit,
etc., have lost out completely because
of lack of uniformity and market de
sirability. It is not the largest ap
ples or the largest potatoes that the
market wants
In the exhibiting of livestock the
following things should be consider
