Remember that the inspectors hare thousands of cattle to look at and that it takes time to get a cor rect tally. If the shipper will comply with this, the best results will be obtained for all in the least time and to the best advantage. If you do not get-returns for a number of estrays each year, do not orerlook the fact that all cattle from the range country are looked at as well as the cattle from eastern Ne braska that -come from the feed lots and that one of the lfnes of inspec tion is to prevent the. theft of cattle as well as to recover estrays. The South Omaha Live stock Ex change has been most fair to us, In regard to the weighing up of branded cattle before inspection, having pass ed a rule attaching a penalty for such an offense by any of Its mem bers. In the face of these facts from one market alone it seems to me that it is not a question can you afford to Join this association, but rather- a question can you afford not to be come a member and thereby protect your own Interests as well as help in this good work.
