"FATTY AND BROADWAY
STARS," AT IMPERIAL
A Decided Novelty is the New Triangle-Keystone
lie I ca.se with
Itoseoe Arbuckle
At the Imperial theatre Saturday
night a decided novelty is offered t
the patrons in an entirely new kind
of Keystone comedy called "Fattr
and the Broadway Stars." This ex
traordinary two reeler features Roe
coe Arbuckle and also introduce
nearly all the great legit'niate and
motion picture stars nov. at the fam
ous studio, including Mack Sennett,
William Collier. Weber and Fields.
Sam Bernard, Joe Jackson, Ford
Sterling, Polly Moran and Mae
Busch. The piece purports to give
one day's doings at Edendale, where
the Keystone studios are located.
Mr. Arbuckle, as Fatty, Is the
sweeper out of the establishment. Af
ter encounters with divers and sun
dry members of the company, he
dreams a dream and in it imagines be
has become a great motion picture
actor and won the hand of the fair
leading lady. Ivy Crosthwaite. In tat
dream there is a big thriller, a fire,
in which Arbuckle rescues Mack Se
nett and half a dozen others. Then
the sweeper wakes and finds that he
is "fired."
Messrs. Collier, Sennett, Weber
and Fields, Sam Bernard and the
rest willingly consented to take the
roles of stars under rehearsal in this
comic dream play. Particularly in
the work of Messrs. Collier and Ber
nard is of such high excellence that,
their first regular Keystone releases
are keenly awaited.
