Alliance Boys Win From t1iairon
Normal and Lose to Chadron
High School Team
At Chadron last week the boys'
team of the Alliance high school won
a game Thursday night from the
Normal school, and on the following
night they lost to the Chadron high
school.
The Thursday night score was 15
to 13. This game is reported to have
been an exceptionally rough game,
but the local team held their own
pretty well.
Friday night's game was refereed
by the superintendent of the Chadron
schools, and he drew a strict line on
rough playing. As a result, some
twenty-five or more fouls were called
and the final score was a lop-sided
one in favor of the Chadron team,
Chadron having 31 points to Alli
ance's 9. .
