C. T. U. under whose auspices the meeting was held. Those who hare given most attention to the program of prohibi tion sentiment la Nebraska express the utmost confidence that the pro posed amendment to the state consti tution will be adopted aext year. An earnest effort will be made to place Box Butte county in line with the balance of the state. By order of the PROVISIONAL COMMITTEE. The executive committee of the Nebraska Dry Federation has recom mended that county dry federations be organised, auxiliary to the state federation. Pursuant to this recom mendation, a call has been Issued for a meeting to be held in the court house In Alliance, next Saturday, De cember 18, at 2:10 p. m., for the pur pose of organising the Box Butte County Dry Federation, and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meet ing. All cltiiens of Box Butte county of legal age, men and women, who far or the adoption of statewide, const! tutlonal prohibition of the liquor traffic in Nebraska, are requested to attend and participate in the deliber ations of the convention. All church es, Sunday schools and other religi ous organisations; fraternal and be nevolent societies; clubs for social or civic Improvement; all other or ganisations and institutions within Box Butte county, that favor the adoption of the proposed constitu tional amendment, are Invited to be represented at the convention by as many members or other persons as they may choose to select for that purpose. Where It Is not practicable for any organization, desiring to be repre sented at the convention, to hold a meeting to select representatives, It Is recommended that the pastor, pre siding officer or secretary select per sons for that purpose and request them to attend.
