Janen Sheldon from Canton who
was operated on for appendicitis at
St. Joseph hospital recently has gone
to his home fully recovered.
Mnrle Nolan was operated on at
St. Joseph Hospital Monday, Decem
ber 28, for throat trouble. She Is
getting along nicely at this time.
Evallne Kuhn was operated on for
throat trouble Tuesday morning and
Is making a good recovery.
Alex lini7of Ellsworth, an old
time resident of this part of the
country, suffered a stroke of appo
plexy Saturday morning, December
26, and for a time It was thought he
could not recover. Dr. Slagle va
called to see him. His many friends
will be pleased to know that he is
some better at this time.
Margaret Triplet t was operated on
at St. Joseph Hospital Wednesday
morning, December 30, and is re
ported by Dr. Slagle to have made
reasonably good progress toward re
covery. Her health has been bad
for some time and considering the
severity of the operation and her
present state of health, more or less
anxiety Is felt by her friends. We
are glad to know she Is recovering
from the operation.

Mrs. Hallle Baldwin of York, Ne
br., was visiting with her uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Klncaid, on
Friday and Saturday of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Keyer were
visitors at Joe Sellers' ranch Satur
day and Sunday.
C. M. Thompson has a brother vis
iting him.
C. E. Preston the horse buyer was
here again last week looking for
more horses, but was not successful
In getting any.
Joe Crammore has sold bis Kln
kaid to John Arnold. Joe expects to
go to Georgia once more.

Sunday Was Warm Day
Sunday, January 3, was one of the
warmest days of the winter. The
temperature was above freezing all
day and everyone was out. - Autos
were brought out from their winter
habitations and made use of. There
were many skating parties on Bron
co lake, which is frozen deep and
