The bulletins were mailed to district officers and teachers, but many others who are interested in the schools of this coun ty will find Information herein that will be Interesting and convenient for them to have for reference. During Miss Reed's incumbency of the office of county superintendent The Herald had endeavored to be helpful to her and all others of its readers who are connected with the can so of education. It is a great pleasure to note the splendid success she has attained in t e administra tion of the affairs of the office and her well deserved popularity. County Superintendent-elect Miss Opal Russell scarcely needs an intro dactton to the people of Box Butte cwanty, but we are glad to present te them a photogravure of her. She Is well Qualified for the exacting and araaous work of the office, and The Herald predicts that she will make a aveeeaa of that, as she has of ber werk as a teacher. EXPLANATION The following statement contains a Hat of the school district officers ana teachers of Box Butte county far 1914-1K, the number of months school is held in each district, school ceaaas for 1914 showing the number of children of school age, total as sessed valuation, and the school tax levy.
