District Manacer Locates Here
M. Redfield. district manager of
the Brotherhood of American Yeo
men, and Mrs. Redfleld. arrived in
Alliance Tueaday morning from Lin
coin. Mr. Redfleld was formerly lo
cated at Lincoln in the same capac
Ity. He believes that Alliance will
be more convenient than Lincoln aa
headquarters, and has decided to re
main here.
Wrestling Becoming Popular
Last Thursday evening, in the club
room of the Y. M. B. C an exciting
wrestling match was ataged between
Messrs. Spacht and Ruderadorf. The
young men were evenly matched.
Owing to lack of training for the
event, the match ended after one fall
had been taken by Spacht. On Thurs
day (tonight) another match will
be pulled off by two of the boys and
promises to be as interesting as the
last one. The regular Bible study
is of course first taken up, and all
buainesa matters attended to, after
which the athletic exhibitions are
given.

Weather Continue Warm
The weather in Alliance has con
tinued warm since last week, there
being one or two cool days. Farmers
are hoping that frost will keep away
for some time yet in order that pota
toes may get a full growth vines

A number of Burlington officials
left the first of the week in a special
train for a trip along the North
Platte Valley, via Guernsey, and ov
er the new Burlington extension east
from Casper. In the party were Of
ficials Kolar, Roup, Young, Pecken
paugh and Griggs.
