There are a total of nearly one hundred students la all depart ments nnd the number la being rap idly added to. The faculty will give a concert noon. This will be an event which will be looked forward to by music, lovers. WILL TAKE TRIP TO FLORIDA O. J. Appelburg, traveling repre sentative for this section of the country for M. E. Smith & Company, of Omaha, will go to the Iilack Hills next, week while Mrs. Appelburg make a visit ' with friends in Den ver. They will go to Omaha about the 10th of December. From Oma ha tin y will go to Largo, Florida, where they have a fine orchard. They will be in Florida until Janu ary when Mr. Appelburg will get back on the route with bis "war clothes on." HAMILTON ENTERTAINS PUPILS St. Agnes Academy Pupils Guests of Wm. Hamilton at Empress on Sunday Afternoon Wm. Hamilton, proprietor of Ham llion's grocery store, male a large number of children huppy Sunday ufitrnoon. The pupils of St. Agnes Academy were hte guests at a spec ial matinee at the Empress. All enjoyed themselves and thanked "Hilly" for his klndnese. Mr. Hamilton will entertain all of the school children In the same way soon. He will announce the date later. ' ANOTHER DANCE TO BE GIVEN I Traveling Men Give Vote of Thanks to Employer of 8am Albro for Kindness to Him; Dance to Be January 9th The regular meeting of I"ost M, Travelers Proteose Association, was held at the Drake Hotel Satur day afternoon-. A good sized bunch of members of the Alliance post was present. A vote of thanks was given to John O. Woodward, of Council Bluffs Iowa, for his kindness to Sam Albro who recently died at Fremont, Ne braska, after an Illness of several years. Mr. Albro stayed on the road for the Woodward firm until his Ill ness became so serious that he had to quit. Mr. Woodward, however, continued to keep Mr. Albro on the payroll until hi death, and Mrs. Al bro will continue to receive his pay until the first of next January. For over two years Mr. Albro was una ble to work and the kindness and geneosity of Mr. Woodward la thus assisting him and his family te deep ly apprecjated by the traveling men who were his friends and associated with him. A. D. Rodgers was elected vice president to take the place of Frank Herzog, who has moved and resigned the office. Two new members were added to the committee on arrangements for dances. The committee now con sists of Ivan Rodgers, it. 1. High land, Ludington, S. W. Thompson and Jack Berry. The io8t has decided to give an other bull on January 9th. Tickets will be sold by the members and a good attendance assured as this will lo at a time when most of the boys will bo at home for their vacations. Post M wants to have a member elected on the board of state direct ors. Work will be begun towards this end and a campaign will be made at the next annual state con venilun In the spring.
