The FIRST
Formal
Announcement
of Mr. Edison's New Diamond-Played Disc Phono
graph is made in this week's Saturday Evening Post
and the current issues of other National papers and
magazines.
Mr. Edison has deferred this announcement of
"ready" for the purpose of accumulating a satis
factory list of musiial reproductions on the new disc
records and meanvvi ile has closely observed the
practical operation of his masterpiece in the hands
of purchasers. How he stamps it "perfect" and
offers a large list of choice selections for the disc
machine.
It costs nothing to hear this modern wonder and
we say in all seriousness and good faith that to pur
chase any other sound-producing machine without
first hearing this latest achievement is to invite re
grets later on.
