Perfecting Patents
I. U. 1 lager, who has been in
Washington. DC, for the last fi've
weeks, working on his two patents,
has returned to the city. Mr. Hager,
with hut associates, has Invented a
kerosene and distillate dry gas pro
ducer which will, if it fulfills the
hopes of its inventor and those who
have seen It, make kerosene and
distillate take the place of gasoline,
as far as gas engines are concerned.
It will be adaptable lo all kjnds of
gas engines, both In auto and In
stationary engines. It Is clailmed
that it will make a gallon of kero
sene or distillate go as far as one
and one-third gallons of gasoline, the
kerosene only costing about half
what the gasoline does.
Mr. 1 lager amo has Invented an
automatic oil regulator for oil burn
ing locomotives and engines that
burn oil for fuel. Thl regulator
shuts down the amount of oil fed
when the sitwun pressure gets too
heavy and lets In more oil when
the tdteam pressure gets light.
