traded their old relief pitcher Loot

Cincinnati In exchnnge for pitcher
Fromnie, It looks as though Joe Tink
er gets the best of .the deal. Am

joining Tinker against Brooklyn, beat
ing them 1 to 0 and holding Brook
lyn to three hita. Not bo bad for
an old relief pitcher.
In the American . Frank Chance
of the New Yorks traded to Chicago
White Sox the best first baseman
in base ball for Zelder and Morton,
both, infielders. Chan e Is gradually
building up his team with young play
ers by trades. He will make a club
out of the Yankees but it will take
time. Wouldn't it be a great change
for Hal Chase after being with the
cellar team so many years to step
right into a world series. Can't tell,
those Sox are a great teams, and
Chase is a great strength to htem.
